My Top Three Last Minute Amazon Prime Day Picks

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Amazon at all for this post and all of my opinions shared in this post are real and honest.

Amazon is literally the biggest online store in the world and definitely the home of the biggest Black Friday savings. However, did you know that these guys also take part in a massive two day Summer Sale too? The only snag is that you have to have signed up to an Amazon Prime account to take up these offers, though not all is lost as you can bag a free one month trial of Prime if you’ve never had it before – just (as with any trial) remember to cancel before it ends and you get charged. Before I go on any more, here are my last minute picks! Side note: as we’re all trying to lead more conscious lifestyles, please really only buy something if it is an item you seriously want.

Fitbit Charge 3 Advanced in Rose Gold and Grey

Honestly, this may sound a bit clichéd but I feel like this little wristband (reduced to £88.99) actually gave me – the most sport averse person ever – the push to exercise regularly. When you’re slacking, looking at that poor step count is the only thing that seems to motivate me and I am starting to see the positive effects of working out regularly now too – yes to all of those positive endorphins! All Fitbits offer heart rate tracking but the perks that the Charge 3 model has over the cheaper models is that it is water resistant for up to fifty metres, offers swim tracking (so cool!) and the battery even lasts seven days which is so useful if you’re travelling or at a festival.

Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Hair Spray

The summer humidity usually means I have to put up with a hell of a lot of frizz that has always stood up to every product I seem to use – sometimes to the point where it has ruined an entire look by resisting any sort of styling. Until recently of course. I initially spotted Color Wow on an infomercial and it really did look too good to be true, however, when I eventually decided to take the plunge (this stuff is generally never on offer but is available for £16.80 right now) I was actually so shocked at it’s power and ability to smooth my hair – bye bye frizz and static – without weighing my hair down and sacrificing any volume I naturally have which is especially important as I have long and thick hair. Once you try Color Wow I don’t think you’ll ever go back to any other anti-frizz treatment.

Canon EOS 4000D DSLR Camera Bundle

If you’re serious about blogging/Instagram and want to take it to the next level, a seriously wise move would be to purchase an entry level DSLR camera like this one that’s currently £219 (a saving of 47% on the RRP). You cannot go wrong with this model; the camera controls are so easy for beginners to become accustomed to and the quality of the pictures is pretty stunning, especially for the price. The camera shoots 18 Megapixel photos and Full HD videos. The coolest feature though, for an entry level camera, is that it has WiFi connectivity allowing you to upload photos ready for Lightroom editing fast and allows you to take photos remotely – ideal for vacation photography and streetstyle shoots. The main notable cost cutting exercise with the body is that the lens mount is plastic but unless you’re a serious photographer who is planning on using long lenses you will actually not notice a thing. Overall, this is a sturdy and simple to use camera that’s perfect for someone wanting to transition from smartphone to DSLR photography.

Thanks for reading this post and I hope you found it useful. As ever, my opinions are always honest in any post and I always love to see feedback in the comments section.

See you soon,

Claudia xoxo
